教案说明: 现在孩子的玩具真可谓是五花八门,应有尽有。我要上的这课My favourite toys,从一年级开始就已经学习了,每升高一个年级玩具就更多更高级,所以到了五年级这个学习内容就显得太简单太单薄了。借这次学校开拓展课的机会,我决定不上他们的玩具,改为学习他们祖父辈和父辈的玩具,不仅要求他们会说这些英文词,还要求在课堂上学会玩这些玩具。 但对于他们祖父辈和父辈的玩具现在的孩子已是不甚了解,所以在课前我就让学生回家去调查自己祖父母和爸爸妈妈小时侯的玩具各是什么,将调查结果填写在我预先为他们制作的表格里,并能将这些玩具带到课堂,若能学会玩那是更好了。 通过 my favourite toys这一课,来重现他们祖父辈和父辈的玩具,虽然这些玩具可能是自己简单的手工制作,如“翻卡片”,只是一张纸折成的卡片;也或许这玩具根本就不象是一个玩具,比如“挑绑绑”只是一根线而已,但就是这些简易的玩具也带给了他们无穷的童年乐趣。结合我们的课题“英语课中民族精神的渗透”这个主题,对学生进行中国传统玩具的发掘与学习,更何况电脑正日益占据孩子们的课余生活,如何正确引导他们也是一个要探讨的课题。在这节课中我要让学生深切地了解到虽然他们父辈们的时代受经济条件的制约,没有他们现在的现代化玩具和电脑游戏可玩,但由他们自己动手制作,或只是由一块手帕一根线自创的游戏也能使他们从中获得无穷的乐趣,得到无限的成就感。让现代的学生明白玩具不一定是花钱买的,If you haven’t toys, just make it. Whether a branch or a string, it may be the best toy. 当你没有玩具时,可以自己动手做,一根树枝一根线都有可能是最好的玩具。
